Right after our closing, we drove to the house after everything was signed, dated and notarized. We brought in some traditional Filipino items that we believe would bring good luck and blessings to our new home. Walked through each room and made sure that nothing has changed since the final inspection and also took in the gravity of the situation that we are now officially homeowners.
As we walked through each room, we made notes of the first set of tasks that we would want to tackle before we are able to move in. The obvious one is the carpets all throughout the house, along with the paint for each room. I definitely have my work cut out for me as my wife's going to be busy taking of our little one while finishing up the last bit of packing needed at the apartment. That mean's it's solo work for me all throughout while working at my nine to five.
