Today was going to be a short day at the house since I needed to take care of some chores and had a full load at work the following day. Since I'm going to be painting a ton of walls, I wanted to make sure that I was more effective and efficient this time around. I invested on a telescoping pole this time since the mop handle I was using wasn't as efficient and adjustable. I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of it anyway since I still had the rest of the house to paint. I also picked up a wider paint roller frame and paint roller cover so I can be more efficient and apply paint at swaths of 18 inches wide instead of the standard 9 inches. I also had to pick up a wider paint tray to accommodate the wider roller and matching tray liners for faster cleanup. Another roll of rosin paper was needed as well since there were other areas that needed to be protected from any paint drips and for moving day.
There was a great sale I couldn't pass on for 6-panel primed solid core interior doors at Lowe's so I picked up three for the bedrooms, one for the main bathroom and another one for the hallway closet.
I didn't realize how heavy they were until I started loading them in to my SUV. Thank goodness I was able to fit them all in with all the seats folded and the passenger side headrest removed.
The doors extended all the way to my dashboard, they barely cleared the gear shifter. I had to use them as my armrest so I can drive sitting up straight and not leaning against my door.
Dropped them off all at the house, then off I went to tackle the rest of my daily chores waiting for me at the apartment.
