After work today, I was super excited to finally get to paint the living room and dining room walls. Final sanding, clean up and taping is done so we can finally get started.
Started by cutting in the edges and corners from to to bottom, with a brush. And also around trims and receptacles. I just made sure that I placed a wide enough swath so I wouldn't need to worry about missing anything once I start using the wide roller.
Once cut in, I just went to town with the wide roller and made sure I had enough coverage and didn't miss any spots.
For now, I focused more on the walls that will end up being blocked by furniture since moving day is in two days. The stair wall, I can just tackle that with a standard roller at my leisure.
It's been a very productive day. I finally wrapped up around 1:00 am and still have work in the morning. The next couple of days will be the final stretch of packing and boxing before our big move.
